Based on the data of zootechnical accounting, an analysis of the productive and reproductive qualities of two groups of animals was performed: with the desired (target) genotype and with other genotypes. The results showed the advantage of animals of the target genetic group in almost all parameters. Correlation analysis was used to determine the interdependencies between the traits, which allowed us to establish the presence of a high correlation between the genotype and the protein milk index in black-and-white cows. A moderate strength of the relationship was noted between the genotype and milk abundance (-0.32) in cows of the black-and-white breed; and the protein content (0.37) and the number of inseminations (0.35) in cows of the red steppe breed. Representatives of the red steppe and black-mottled breeds (livestock populations of the Omsk region), possessing the desired genotype, outperform other animals in terms of abundance, fat content and protein content. The effectiveness of the genotype implementation is assessed in two key areas: by thephenotypic manifestation of productive qualities in animals and by a system of indicators characterizing the level of breeding work in dairy cattle breeding farms.
