The relevance of the technology for preparing concentrated feed with the inclusion of liquid components in the mixture is substantiated. A mixer-humidifier with gravity action is proposed. The device and principle of operation of the concentrated feed mixer-humidifier are described. Mathematical expressions are presented for calculating the uniformity of moistening, the rate of application of liquid feed additives (LFA) depending on the supply of QK compound feed and the percentage of application of LFA. A nomogram of a gravity-action mixer-humidifier for choosing a mixing-moistening mode to obtain high-quality mixing with moistening that meets zootechnical requirements is given. When feeding animals with liquid feed additives, productivity increases significantly.
