ASSESSMENT OF RELIABILITY INDICATORS OF THE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM OF TRACTORS WITH GAS-CYLINDER EQUIPMENT

Abstract:
The paper analyzes research on the use of alternative fuels in automotive diesel engines. The reliability indicators of the components of the dual-fuel engine supply system with gaseous and diesel fuel were evaluated. Statistical observations and an analysis of the reliability of a dual-fuel system providing compressed natural gas supply to a diesel engine are presented, on the basis of which the probability of failure and the intensity of the event flow are obtained. The reliability indicators of the CNG and diesel fuel diesel power supply system are at a high level, which allows for maintenance of gas-cylinder tractors in a time similar to serial diesel tractors. Some recommendations for the maintenance of the power supply system of gas-diesel tractors are given. The purpose of the work is to consider the reliability indicators of individual components of the compressed natural gas and diesel fuel supply system.
