SOME RESULTS OF THE STUDY OF AN ANHYDROUS ROOT CROP CLEANER

Abstract:
The relevance and main methods of preparing root crops for feeding animals are described. An installation for anhydrous cleaning of root crops has been developed. The general structure and principle of its operation are described in detail. The indicators for assessing the quality of cleaning root crops from soil contamination have been determined. Some results of the study of anhydrous cleaning of root crops are presented. The most significant factors that have a significant impact on the efficiency of cleaning root crops have been identified. The dependences of residual contamination of root crops on some of the studied factors have been obtained, allowing us to determine the intervals and degree of influence of each of them on the technological process of anhydrous cleaning. It has been shown that an increase in the efficiency of cleaning root crops can be achieved by additionally applying vibration to the rotating brush working element of the anhydrous cleaner.
