Management of the microclimate in livestock complexes plays a key role in maintaining the health and productivity of animals. The choice of bedding material is of significant importance, as it must have good sorptive, antimicrobial, and deodorizing properties to maintain hygienic conditions and reduce microbial load. In this study, the organoleptic, physicochemical, and microbiological indicators of separated manure were examined when applying the disinfectant «Stalosan F» at dosages of 50 and 100 g/m². In the control group, the manure had a moisture content of 14%, a density of 1 g/cm³, and a soft, fibrous structure with a pronounced ammonia odor. At a dosage of 50 g/m², the mass became less viscous, the moisture content decreased to 13%, the density increased to 1,2 g/cm³, and the ammonia odor significantly reduced. At a dosage of 100 g/m², the manure took on a dry, crumbly structure, the moisture content decreased to 11%, the density increased to 1,3 g/cm³, and the odor became almost neutral. The chemical composition also changed: the total nitrogen content decreased from 2,3 to 2 % and 1,8 %, respectively, phosphorus and potassium decreased, and the ash content increased from 16 to 19% and 24%. The application of «Stalosan F» improved not only the physical properties of the manure but also the overall microclimate: the humidity and concentrations of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide in the air were reduced. The results obtained confirm the high effectiveness of the disinfectant in improving bedding quality and creating a safer and more comfortable environment for the animals, which positively impacts their health and productivity.
