The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of mineral fertilizers on the biometric parameters of apple seedlings with a closed root system in the conditions of Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe. The studies were conducted in 2024-2025 at the Garden Center of the Agrarian University, LLC (Berezovsky District, Krasnoyarsk Krai). The objects of the study were the Vospitannitsa apple variety and mineral fertilizers: urea, Osmocote, and AVA. The experimental variants included: 1) control (no fertilizers); 2) urea - N 50 ; 3) AVA - P 125 K 50 ; 4) AVA - P 125 K 50 + urea (N 50 ). 5) Osmocote Pro - N 850 P 550 K 500 ; 6) Osmocote Exact Standart - N 800 P 450 K 300 . Weather conditions during the 2024 and 2025 growing seasons were characterized by elevated temperatures and excess moisture. In 2024, the air temperature exceeded the climatic norm (14.3 °C) by 1.4 °C, in 2025 - by 1.9 °C. In 2024, precipitation was 67.5% above the norm (314 mm), in 2025 it was 69.5% (465.2 mm). The results of long-term studies have shown that the highest number of shoots was obtained in the variants using long-acting fertilizers Osmocote Pro - N 850 P 550 K 500 and Osmocote Exact Standart - N 800 P 450 K 300 - 1.7 and 1.8 pcs., respectively, which reliably (HSR 05 = 0.5) exceeds the control variant by 0.7 and 0.8 pcs. The average indicator of the total length of shoots also reflects the advantage of using Osmocote fertilizers: Pro - N 850 P 550 K 500 - 99.5 cm, Exact Standart - N 800 P 450 K 300 - 96.7 cm, which exceeded the control by 65 and 62.1 cm, respectively, and the data are mathematically confirmed (HSR 05 = 4.6). When propagating the Vospitannitsa apple variety vegetatively by grafting, to obtain one-year-old seedlings with a closed root system, it is advisable to add Osmocote mineral fertilizers in two versions to the peat substrate: Pro (N 850 P 550 K 500 ) and Osmocote Exact Standard (N 800 P 450 K 300 ).
