ASSESSMENT OF THE TRACTORS TECHNICAL CONDITION AT THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES OF THE OMSK REGION, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE COSTS OF ELIMINATING EMERGING FAILURES

Abstract:
It's well-founded that agricultural production suffers significant losses due to equipment failures. The technological process of machine maintenance, repair, and operation on farms can be represented by a multitude of internal characteristics, operating conditions, fleet age, adopted technical intervention strategies, and fleet utilization modes. The influence of all these indicators and factors determines the actual technical condition of the machine. A number of factors and negative processes lead to a reduction in the number of machines in use, a decrease in their availability, and an increase in the failure rate. All of this combined means that the reliability indicators of aging equipment must be primarily considered when calculating crop sowing volumes and the timing of technological operations, which ultimately determines the overall costs of mechanized field work. Statistical data analysis methods were used in the study. This paper presents observation data on K-701 tractors in the production conditions of enterprises in the Omsk Region and determines the material costs of maintenance and ongoing repairs of these tractors. The analysis period spanned three years. A methodology for determining tractor downtime losses and additional repair and maintenance costs was developed. Failures of the monitored tractors were identified and categorized by location, allowing for an analysis of their causes and the development of recommendations for their prevention. The data was compared with the resulting tractor utilization charts for the year under review.
